Rebecca Silveston, PhD, has a 30 year career in material development spanning Fortune 100 companies and start-ups.
She currently heads Sonoco’s sustainable materials technology scouting for paper-based food packaging. She has also managed open innovation programs at a variety of companies, workshops, webinars and conferences.
Scott Huffer

Scott Huffer, PhD, is a Chemical Engineer from Purdue University with over 36 years in printing/converting.
Scott launched his career at the largest gravure printing plant in the US and subsequently worked in the automotive industry at Avery and Rexam. Scott joined Sonoco Flexible Packaging in 1999 and holds over 75 patents. His current development focus is on high barrier sustainable packaging.
Subir Dey, PhD

Subir Dey, PhD, received a BSC from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, a M.SC. from Imperial College, London, UK, and a Ph. D. from Stevens Institute of Technology, NJ, USA all in Chemical Engineering. He spent his entire carrier in Plastics’ R&D. He has 11 patents. His hobby is programming Micro Electronics to perform boring jobs.
